Valentine's Day Inspirations: Pretty Heart Pie...

When the weather is a cold as it is at the moment and it's snowing outside we thought about a Valentines Day of keeping warm, snug & cosy! A romantic walk followed by a delicious dinner and this beautiful photograph by one of our favourite photographers, Elizabeth Messina of Kiss the Groom, is the perfect hand made and home made idea - a pretty heart pie!

The red filling and heart shaped pastry covering the top of the pie are just ideal and it's something a bit different. For myself this would be a great challenge to create and so I think it would go down well!

Serve it on a pretty cake or pie stand with hot chocolate and get cosy in front of the fire...
